Refer to “Espace V.T.T.- FFC Salvetat Haut-Languedoc no 55”. About 30 trails – with trail heads in every village forming the « Montagne du Haut Languedoc “ district authority – offer all difficulty levels (green, blue, red and black). Note that the site is criss-crossed by several trails: no 3, no 9, no 13.

The green network « réseau vert® » meant for hikers, horse and mountain bike riders stretches over the Herault administrative area from East to West, from Castrie to La Salvetat-sur-Agout. It is made of 500 kms of signposted trails and 19 stages of about 30 km. In addition, more than 500 kms of signposted paths: PR-GR, pilgrims’ Way of St. James to Santiago de Compostela, theme paths. Our favourite family hike around Lake Vesoles

The town of La Salvetat is equipped with various shops offering notably local produce, several restaurants and inns, as well as a disco open every night during peak season, with teenagers’ parties. Besides, the Tourist Office organizes events during peak season: dances, concerts, markets at night…
